At first it only started chirping after a few minutes, chirped for a minute, then the PC quit reading the drive. It is using Disk OEM Ext ( NOT SCSI as detected automatically on My Computer). Driver Navigator is continuing to try to get me to keep the software and is not wanting to refund my money, even though they state a 60 day 100 percent refund if not satisfied. Driver Navigator refunded my money immediately, without question. I used it mainly with an even older (vintage 2005) Dell Inspiron E1505 laptop. After subscribing to Driver Navigator and Driver Update, I learned this was not true. I have an "old" USB hard drive (about 4–5 years old), a Seagate 320GB FreeAgent Go. I apologize if this is something basic or if it has been asked before. It's the strangest thing - which is my prefatory way of saying I have no idea why this is happening, so hardly know how to search for answers.
